This policy sets out Rytebridge Healthcare’s approach to identifying and preventing modern slavery across our operations. It applies to:

4. Responsibilities

– Leadership Team: Ensure policies and procedures are implemented, monitored, and reviewed regularly.
– Managers & Key Officers: Acts as the designated lead on modern slavery and human trafficking concerns.
– All Staff: Must be aware of the risks, remain vigilant, and report any suspicions immediately.

5. Due Diligence and Risk Management

We adopt a risk-based approach to identify and manage potential risks of modern slavery:
– Conduct background and compliance checks on suppliers and labour providers
– Ensure contracts include anti-slavery clauses
– Regularly audit recruitment and supply chain processes
– Only work with agencies and partners who demonstrate compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015

6. Recruitment and Employment Practices

– All recruitment is carried out in a fair, lawful, and ethical manner
– Right to work checks are completed for all workers
– No recruitment fees are charged to workers
– Employment is freely chosen, and no identity documents are withheld without consent.
